Only if you consider that almost half the user base of OOo [and
derivatives] do not use the Latin writing system as their default
writing system, can say it affects a small minority of users.

When I update _OOo In A Multi-Lingual Environment_, I'll be adding
details of that type. [I had intended doing that last month, but a
documentation rewrite that I thought was going to be between 300 and
500 pages has just hit the 2 500 page mark. It still very incomplete.
I expect to be able to put it aside next week, and rewrite OOo in a
Multi-Lingual Environment for OOo 2.0.]

Currently, I simply mention that an IME is needed, and which ones that
are available work with OOo.

This time around, I'll be able to cover both Windows, and Linux. At least, if
(a) the copy of Ubuntu I downloaded is not corrupt, (b) My CD Burner
correctly burned it, (c) I can get Win2K and ubuntu to play nicely
with each other as dual boot machines.

One of the biggest criticism that I remember, when reading reviews of
the documentation, and books about OOo, is that multi-lingual input is
virtually ignored.
