You sound like me :) I had the same questions a little while ago.
You have done everything except Step 3 of _What do I do with a reviewed
document?_
"Send an email to the list to inform the author that you have
reviewed and uploaded the file.
Put "PING: [author's name]" in the subject line."
I think the [author's name] is the first name in the author's list
