want to mention.
1. When I opened the document, looking at the front page, the red label
of Figure 2 appears
for a second. I really don't know why.
This happens a lot when I open ODT files in OOoV2. Lots of the
illustrations flash up on the screen while OOo is pulling them in and
putting them where they belong. I don't know why either. I'm used to it
now, but I can imagine it must be quite disconcerting for new users.
2. After the contents appears an empty page, but only in side view mode,
Page 1 of the chapter starts on a "right hand" page. The contents list is
also on a "right hand" page. So in some views, and when printing the file,
and in the PDF, a blank page appears between the two rigt-hand pages. This
is something OOo does that we cannot prevent, although after I generate a
PDF I can go into it in Acrobat and delete the blank page.
3. This line in Figure 3 looks strange for me.
I could only imagine you want to show that there's sth. else in the
window, if that's it, forget
about the third point and accept my apology. :-)
Yes, I was trying to show that I had cut out the middle of the dialog box,
and show only the top and bottom of it. Perhaps that wasn't the best way to
do it. Usually I have two jagged lines, to indicate that something was
"torn out", but this time I was lazy and only put in one.
You'll find that I changed the numbering
Thanks for catching the places where the numbering didn't restart. The
gremlins seem to get to the numbering now and then, because I'm sure I had
all the lists set to start at 1 like they should. Ah well, this is a really
good reason why having extra eyes look at a chapter is so important.
