Tuesday night my wife and I spent a very enjoyable evening at a concert
(part of a series in this little town in the back of BC).
We listened to a Harpist that I would daresay is close to Pablo.
This harpist was originally from Cuba but learned the harp in Venezuela.
Gave up being a physician to keep up the harp.
He explained how the harp came to South America and how the music plus
the instrument changed though out the SA continent.
As far as I am concerned the evening was one of the best. We bought 2 CDs.
The musician was Alfredo Rolando Ortiz. A great harpist.
