I have downloaded this file to learn how to work with macros from
scratch. I hope to have some comments and suggestions as I go along.
Problem #1: This paragraph is at the top of page 10:
"Assign the macro to a keystroke. To do this, click Tools > Configure to
open the Configuration dialog, and then select the Keyboard tab. Macro
libraries are at the bottom of the Category list. You can also find this by
clicking Tools > Macros > Organize Macros > OpenOffice.org Basic, selecting
the specific macro, and then clicking the Assign button to launch the
Configuration window. Various tabs in this dialog allow you to assign the
macro to execute as a menu item, from a keyboard key, a toolbar icon, or a
system event."
But how to I assign the macro to a keystoke? Specifically, what do I do after
I have located the specific macro (HelloWorld2) at the bottom of the Category
list? Yes there are tabs in this dialog, but what are the steps required in
any one of these dialogs?
Problem #2: How do I assign one of the macros I have created to an icon?
(What are the steps?)
