Hello All,

I have been starting using Impress quite heavily recently and would like very much to contribute to the drafting of the guide (or to update the OOo 1.x guide). I have to admit that I still have to prove myself on the field by performing some reviews so my question: how many reviews do you have to perform before being able to contribute as author?

Cheers,

Michele

That chapter appears to have fallen through the cracks and been
forgotten, at least by me. So sorry! I must confess that I have
not been keeping up at all well, especially on a "finished" book
like Getting Started.

I've just "submitted" that chapter so it appears on the Review
List, so hopefully someone else will have a look at it. I would
like to get that revised chapter published, and I also want to
publish a revised printed Getting Started book in the next month
or two, if I can get it indexed. I have the same intentions for
the Writer Guide, too. Alas, in the absence of anyone else doing
indexing, I guess I'm the (un)lucky bunny. I hate to admit that I
do have indexing experience, so I can hardly avoid the job.

Meanwhile there is still the Impress Guide itself. Dan, please
remind me: were you/we planning to use part or all of that
Getting Started chapter as Chapter 1 of the Impress Guide?

BTW, note to all: please don't wait for me to organise things. If
I've forgotten something, either nag me or --better still-- if
you can do it yourself, I encourage you to do so... including
sending reminders to the list like "Hey, no one has reviewed my
chapter! Please will someone do so!" :-)

Cheers, Jean
