I have started checking the Writer Guide against OOo2.0.2.
Chapters 1 and 2 have been uploaded to the published_final
folder. I'll keep working my way through the book when I have
time, but meanwhile...
Now is the time for you to review a chapter and suggest
improvements! Are topics missing that should be there? Are the
explanations good enough? I have a stack of notes for information
to add or revise in response to questions on the OOo forum and
user list, but I'm sure some of you know of other items that are
needed.
And we always need people to simply check the chapters against
the software. Many of the chapters were written using beta
versions of OOo2.0 and have not been thoroughly checked since
then; and there have been new features and other minor changes
made in the software in 2.0.1 and 2.0.2. It would be really good
to have everything well up to date asap so we can issue a new
edition of this book.
