I'm assuming I need to select a file in order to retract it. Yet
selecting a file automatically begins the downloading of it.
And I dont see where I am able to change its state.
Could you please steer me in the right direction.

Note: When you take out a chapter for review, please "retract" it so
its state changes from "published" to "visible". That way other
people will know someone is working on it. The contributors' page
has a link to instructions on how to retract a file.
