When I updated those *.odt docs in April, did their *.sxw versions
become updated also, or are they still the older versions? It probably
wouldn't hurt to see what dates they have. Or, alternatively, if my name
isn't in the *.sxw versions, then they definitely have not been changed
along with the *.odt versions. I suppose I could check (and will
eventually), but if so, some might still be using the former *.sxw docs
since early April.
At what point are we going to stop issuing *.sxw versions of anything
relating to version 2.x?
We already have stop issuing .sxw versions of anything to do with
OOo2.x, as of late 2005. And no one should be using them for
anything, with the exception of V1.x chapters that have not yet
been updated for V2 (such as the source material for the Impress
Guide) -- and when those chapters are updated, they should be
saved as .odt.
I thought I had deleted the .sxw versions of everything except
for the files that had not been updated yet. If you find any old
files still lurking around, and there are updated .odt versions,
please go ahead and nuke the old ones.
