I have noticed that the default user has changed from member to author .. It might bring a security issue ..
I do not use group permissions : we have few members, and the upgrade of each individual gives me a change to control misuse better before i used to upgrade members to authors etc. Now i can give user member permissions and the author permissions are gone..
