I think it's always been that way, and it's been a source of
irritation for me too. I thought there had been an issue on this
for years, but I confess I haven't checked. If something is
actually happening on this, I'm delighted to hear it.
At some point, when I can find the time, I might put
together a document (either as part of the master docs
chapter or a separate document) about working around the
"glitches."
A few items are in the Master Docs chapter already, so that could
be a good place to add others. I intend to do so as I find them,
but like you I never seem to have time.
