I'm very happy with the way this chapter is developing. I think it's getting close to being ready to publish, though I would like to have at least one other person review it (to see if what makes sense to you and me also makes sense to readers).

I've gone through your additions and changes and made a few edits (with Record Changes on). Thanks for adding all that new material and improving on what I had done. I also corrected and changed some of the material I had added earlier, some of which I have since discovered was wrong.

Just one question remains. You said in a note about the first section of the chapter, which I had titled "Designing a presentation":

Propose to move it to chapter 1: Master Slides are used to
achieve consistency in the presentation rather than to help
planning it.

The intention of this section was to say that planning the
appearance of a presentation is important so you can then decide
how many master slides you need (and what you want on them) to
achieve consistency of appearance. So the section might need a
different title or slightly different emphasis, but I think it
belongs in this chapter... or at least the ideas belong here.
I'll think some more about how to change it to be more
appropriate for this chapter, or whether to put it elsewhere, as
you suggest. Let's discuss this some more.
