I recently received this question from a user:
"I'm in a master document, scrolling through, proofing the
contents. I see a mistake. How do I figure out what file to open?
The appropriate file isn't highlighted in the navigator for the
master document when I click in text."
The only answer I had was: go to Format > Sections. On the
dialog, the section you're in is highlighted, and the filename is
shown. However, this seems like a rather roundabout way to do it,
given that you then have to find that file in the Navigator or in
the file browser, in order to open it for editing.
Does anyone know a better way to find (and open) the file you're
in, or a way to get the Navigator to highlight the file?
Cheers, Jean
