After many years of using OOo at home and now at work, I think it's time for me
to return something to the effort.

I was introduced to word processing on "ancient" typography equipment and then
got heavily into XyWrite in DOS and have progressed from there. Word has been my
workhorse for many years but it's become so glutted with useless features and helpless
helpers and I feel it's time to move on.

Having made my living in the newspaper industry, both inside and as an outside
vendor, perhaps I can bring something to this project. At least it seems like a
very noble venture that you've all undertaken.

I'll begin with testing and reviewing documents and go on from there.

Welcome, Steve! I have given you the Author role, so you should be able to download and upload files from the website.

I'm sure you've already discovered the links on the first page to various background reading for reviewers. Feel free to ask questions... everyone does.

Once logged in, you should see the Review List on the lower part of the left-hand column. Pick any of the English-language documents listed there and have a go!

Cheers, Jean
