Hi Jean I have uploaded a translation of Chapter 1, 0401DG, based on the German Authors' group document. I added a couple of screen shots which were not in the previous version (I used the Ch 1 file which Gary edited back in October 2006 and put in the feedback folder as the basis for my work).
Could you have a look at this document in the Feedback folder: http://oooauthors.org/en/authors/userguide2/draw/feedback/0401DG-IntroductionToDraw_June07_MJF.odt/download and give me some constructive criticism as to what would make your life easier for the other other chapters. I am thinking particularly of styles, setting out etc. I tried to follow the current style guide but might have missed some obvious things.
