Thank you, Henk! That is exactly what I wanted to know. I will check those issues. I will also test this in 2.3.

With the Dutch TCM test of OOo 2.2.1 I tested the conversion from Writer to Word en Word to Writer. I used for that purpose file 0211 WG UsingMailMerge.odt. This file is not unknown in the Authors-world. All the places of the graphics (in frames) were misplaced. I wrote a issue about that 72915. Similar issues to this issues 43447 en 75464 describes problems with captions in frames I think.

This problem should be resolved in version 2.3

I hope this is the information you ment.

For comparison, I opened the same ODT file in OOo and saved it as a MSWord document, then opened the .doc file in Word 2000. Then I saw the problems described a few days ago by Andrew Pitonyak: the frames containing the graphics and their captions had jumped all over the page (despite being anchored in their own paragraphs). It's looking like there is some major problem with OOo, or at least with the way we have been inserting and anchoring graphics. :-(

Has anyone searched IssueTracker at OOo for bug reports on this? Or seen any comments on the [users] or [discuss] lists, which I don't have time to read any more?
