As far as problems go, my biggest problem is creating figures or diagrams that effectively illustrate the point that I'm trying to make. Currently, I am simply creating screen shots showing the progression consistent with the prose. Perhaps, simple is better . . . . We'll see. I don't suppose that we have a graphics editor on our 'editorial staff'. Silly of me to ask.
I've been very quiet for the last several weeks, so I thought I would
take a moment and give an update. I've set a target date for myself to
have a first draft of this chapter available for review on August 10. I
work better under pressure. Currently, I'm just about finished with the
prose and examples for the 'Creating Formulas' section and well underway
on the 'Fixing Errors' section. The 'Using Functions' needs a lot of
work. I've got quite a few examples laid out, but little prose written.
