I am presenting an OOo topic at a Linux conference end of next month.

I could do an excellent job with Macros, but I am looking for more general interest.

I was thinking about a few different topics to cover in 45 minutes that would grab a general audience. If I can find topics that I can then also link back to the authors site, that is a bonus.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I was thinking about the following topics:

1. Templates and Styles

2. Cross references

3. F3 Auto completion and formatting. Complicated word, Table formatting, etc.

4. XForms

5. Database reports

6. Define own Calc functions (so i can work a bit with Macros).

Here are the some that get the attention of technical writers (my
main audience for talks):

- Export to PDF, Flash, HTML, etc.
- Fields, mail merge, automatic ToC/index
- Master documents
- Customizations
- Conditional text and formatting
- Spell checking in multiple languages (using para or char styles)
- Security, digital signing, and ways to remove metadata
- Can unzip file and edit the XML, including styles
