I have edited Martin's translation from the German revision of
Ch2 of the Draw Guide and put it here:

I moved the section on floating toolbars into Ch1 and merged it
with the similar info that was already there. I also slightly
reorganised the beginning sections of Ch2. Otherwise, my edits
were mainly for consistency with terminology in the US-English UI
(e.g., "Drawing toolbar" not "Draw toolbar") and some tightening
up of sentence structure.
Peter H-B, this is ready for you to work on revised figures,
whenever you have time.
While I was working on Ch1, I reorganised it a bit too, putting
the section on customising toolbars at the end of the chapter, as
that is a more advanced topic than some of the others in the
chapter. The latest iteration of Ch1 is here:
