It's now been a month since the operation and I'm doing well despite some residual aches and pains. I'm walking unassisted now, though I use a cane a bit outdoors on the uneven brick (and broken concrete) sidewalks around town. Now my biggest problem is the other hip, which is quite painful at times. Next operation is scheduled for 6 November -- can't come soon enough for me!
