Actually, the User-Faq project is dead....
The User-FAQ project should probably be terminated...
The only problem is that authors currently uses the mailing list from
user-faq. If we can move their list to Documentation, or they have
their own through the OOoAuthors server are options and should be
discussed.
My main concern is that we have continue to have access to the
archives of the Authors list. If the list is moved to Documentation,
can the archives be moved too? If the list is moved to the OOoAuthors
server, is it possible to move the archives there?

I would suggest that we merge the aliases and all of us
use [EMAIL PROTECTED] going forward. Many of us
are subscribed to both aliases anyway.
In this way it will be easier to coordinate our work.
If we do that, what will happen to the archives of the current list?
Here are some other considerations I've thought of.
There are some topics that are specific to OOoAuthors (related to the
website and Plone and the profits from printed books and similar
things) so I don't think doing away completely with a separate
OOoAuthors list is an acceptable choice.
However, Frank's comment about coordinating work has considerable
merit, especially given the small number of active participants in
either list, so merging discussions about OOo documentation onto one
list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) could be a good idea. We could then set up a separate
list on the OOoAuthors server for discussion of topics specific to
this group.
What do other list members think?

Although I subscribe to both main documentation lists, I prefer the
OOoAuthors list. BOTOH, both seem to be of relatively low activity
lately (or else beat an occasional single issue to death...), and much
of the non OOoAuthors list deals more with items that are of little
interest to me (but may be to others), such as licensing, etc.
