I got my first copy of OOo (1.0.1) in late August 2002 and joined the

working on what was to become my first self-published book on the
topic. Yow! How times flies.

I plan to cease active involvement in the OOo project by the end of
this year, though no doubt I'll lurk around the edges indefinitely,
making a nuisance of myself. ;-)

Jean,
I recall having downloaded an early OO.o (1.1?). In 2003, I was pleased
of find your "Taming OO.o Writer 1.1". I still have it. Both OO.o and
your book were real winners. Your work continues to be highly appreciated.
Thank you for the work you have done in making OO.o more useful.
With Warmest Regards
