Dear Jean
I hope to finish Chapter 6 in the next few days and will post it as soon as
possible. Progress was a bit impeded as my wife 'stole' my laptop for some
days so my morning and evening 'train editing' was curtailed.

For Peter:
Images on top row of Figure 3
top left image - produce it by clicking on the basic shape submenu (Draw
toolbar) and not the rectangle icon. Select any shape and draw it on
canvas. When selected and resizing, the status bar shows only "Resize
shape".

top right image -This is quite different to what you see if you draw a
shape with one of the other toolbar icons, when indeed it shows up as Resize
Rectangle% y=40%) or whatever.

Is that sort of what you were asking? Let me know if you need more
enlightenment, there is a special on it this month... :=)

kind regards
Martin
