So be advised that most or all OOo docs (especially older docs) could have some paragraph style reversions to Default if those docs were saved with 2.4 or 3.0.

Both 2.3.1 and 3.0 versions can coexist on your system, so
edit/write/review with 2.3.1 until the bug(s) in 2.4 or 3.0 are
remedied. Otherwise, needless rewriting or editing may be in store if
docs written with 2.4 or 3.0 have to be corrected with 2.3.1.
