I have now uploaded Appendixes A and B of the Getting Started guide for
OOo3, and submitted them for review. This completes the first draft of
this book. I still need to do quite a bit of indexing, but I'll do that
when I go through others' review comments.
Appendix A is on keyboard shortcuts; it is essentially the same as the
App for OOo2.x, except that the info on customizing shortcuts has been
removed from the appendix and put into Chapter 14 (Customizing OOo).
Appendix B is new. It contains portions of the old Chapter 1 on open
source, the OOo community & FAQs; info on file formats from the old
Chapter 3; and some new material on ODF from Michele and me. I think it
could use a better title than the one I gave it.
I'm looking forward to everyone's review comments on this book!
