I made my first steps with StarOffice I guess in 1993, when I used
StarWriter 3.1 during my studies. Since then I have been using a number
of different version of OpenOffice.org and StarOffice both on Linux and
Windows.
During the past 3 years I have supported a number of companies and
institutions in Germany in their (successul) attempts to move from MS
Office to OpenOffice.org. I want the OpenOffice.org project to benefit
from what I have learned about the obstacles and pros & cons during such
a migration.
Therefore I would be happy if I could assist you especially on the
(german) documentation of OpenOffice.org.
As far as I know, Wolfgang Uhlig is already taking care of my author
role.
