Another reason for not being bound into a strict alphabetical order (for
no obvious gains): Why should one of the prepress editors (perhaps,
me--perhaps, Jean) have to continually rearrange lists because a single
word, say, a leading adjective would be added, deleted, or modified...
What a continual pain in the butt that would be--having to rearrange the
damn lists repeatedly. And all the opportunities to introduce yet more
occasions for errors to creep in.
