Google Highly Open Participation contest will take place on december 7 and openoffice.org has front row seat to participate. However we would love to start gathering tasks for pre-univ. I would want to invite the developers to check out the past tasks on other projects such as Gnome, Drupal, Apache, Moodle, Plone etc.
The tasks can be code, documentation, outreach, Quality Assurance or Translation. http://code.google.com/opensource/ghop/2007-8/ Python: http://code.google.com/p/google-highly-open-participation-psf/issues/detail?id=313&can=1&q=completed&colspec=ID%20Status%20ClaimedBy%20Due%20NeedsReview%20Summary GNOME: Write pangocairo tutorial http://code.google.com/p/google-highly-open-participation-gnome/issues/detail?id=44&can=1&q=completed&colspec=ID%20Status%20ClaimedBy%20Summary http://code.google.com/p/google-highly-open-participation-gnome/issues/detail?id=70&can=1&q=completed&colspec=ID%20Status%20ClaimedBy%20Summary Moodle: Design an encyclopedia-style database preset http://code.google.com/p/google-highly-open-participation-moodle/issues/detail?id=53&can=1&q=completed&colspec=ID%20Status%20ClaimedBy%20Summary%20DueDate%20Modified -- Alexandro Colorado OpenOffice.org Español IM: [email protected]
