I have been using the various mX versions since m1, currently m6. I have a
feeling that on my (Linux) Karmic, Jaunty, Mint7 and openSuse 11.2 systems
that there is still quite a lot of instability, program crashes seem to
occur more or less at random. Most everything seems to work when it works,
including the extension manager Gary just mentioned.

I hope these are just problems with the dev versions which are
somehow known to Sun (I regularly send in crash reports, hopefully they
may be somehow of use).
