Hi Jean, Thanks for adding me to the group. I am getting my hands on the latest developer build as we speak :)
I am currently working as a Software Tester in a company which is developing a web portal for a client using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). I am involved in User Interface Testing as well as testing of SOA-based web services. As far as OOo is concerned, I am primarily interested in word processing and spreadsheets. I use the Microsoft Vista OS. I have no technical writing experience to speak of, but I have been contemplating a career in technical writing for quite some time now. A friend of mine recently suggested that a great way to break into technical writing is to start contributing to the OpenOffice Documentation project. And from whatever I have seen here till now, he seems to be right. OOo is a great place to start for an aspiring technical writer. I just hope I will be able to make some useful contributions here. 2009/12/17 Jean Hollis Weber <[email protected]> > Krishna Aradhi wrote: > >> >> I'd like join OOoAuthors as an author.
