No, my proposed fix is not checked in; you need to apply it manually.  (The
ChangeLog entry with my name on it was for a different issue.)  (I am not a
maintainer; I can't check in changes myself.)

Great, now that you have confirmed that it works, hopefully it can get
accepted and applied.

(It would be nice to have a better understanding of the exec/eval
interaction that caused the bug before, however, even though my patch
removes that business entirely.)
