That's interesting. I thought they jumped from 2.6 to 7, so it's probably
Solaris 8.

> % mkdir A.`config.guess`
> % cd !$
> % ../configure

Please send us the full output. Don't forget stderr.

../configure >log 2>&1

> % gmake

The same. If it's too big send the last 50 lines.

Also please attach config.log
