So it's been a long time since I fought this problem last:

 Unresolved:
 __builtin_va_start
 collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Is this a varargs.h/stdargs.h problem?

I'm seeing it on an alpha-dec-osf4.0 and on another box (maybe mips ultrix),
with gcc-2.7.2.something and 2.95.3
