A user was able to compile sed 4.0e on forty-odd platforms, including alphas and sparcs with their native compilers. As you may recall, I released it with an autoconf 2.59a-generated configure script.
That's good news. What's still remaining for autoconf 2.60 to reach beta stage? Paolo
