actually AS_ is reserved for M4sh macros ("advanced shell", I
think), Autoscan uses AN_.

I think it should be handled on the gcc side.
Remember that the argument is a regular expression, so the minimal
variant looks like:
m4_pattern_allow([^AS_FOR_TARGET$])
