Hi, Thanks for writing autoconf!
I would like to know if it is possible to generate 'configure' script in Perl itself? I see that autoreconf, autoheader, autom4te, autoscan, autoupdate are all in Perl. If 'configure' is in Perl, would that run faster on bash? Maybe, I am missing something here. autoconf bash script is generated from m4 macros using M4sh? Appreciate any thoughts, Thanks!
