FYI, Savannah's web interface to CVS repositories (viewvc) is currently responding to all requests with a 429 Too Many Requests error code. Since the 'gnustandards' repo is still using CVS, this has broken Autoconf's script for updating its local copy of standards.texi, which goes through the web interface in order to avoid making people install the 'cvs' program, which they might not have any other use for anymore.
I was able to update standards.texi by hand, and the script needs to be run only once per release of Autoconf, so a fix is not urgent. zw
