Hey, that's what we do here.  Transmeta share the same maps between
Suns and Linux boxen.

Given the quality of the Sun autofs implementation that I've come
across, my inclination is "thanks, but no thanks."  The dentry system
makes the Linux VFS so fundamentally different from any other Unix it
doesn't make much sense, anyway.
