Hello, I'm trying to understand a couple things about the autofs I'm using with my latest Redhat 5.2 GPL. I have managed to get my Linux system joined to the AIX 4.3.2 based NIS domain at my site. I had to first trick the autofs script to parse out the /etc from the NIS map name using 'basename $map' for the auto.master maps on the NIS server. This allows most things to automount correctly. However, I have a couple of filesystems that still do not automount, and to confuse matters, one filesystems automounts for one key but not for another. Any ideas? -- Ken Frazier Boeing Wichita
