Probably not as-is, but I have on my list to implement a new version of
autofs, which will incorporate the functionality of Jeremy's patches. 
Whether or not I'll use his code is not yet clear.  Unfortunately I've
been hideously busy, but if Linus' plan to get 2.4 out by the end of the
year that is a suitable target.
