Do you really need to have one mount point for each user?
The easy solution would seem to be to put the users on fewer
exports. An example would be:
/etc/passwd (or equivalent):
kalle:x:101:100:Kalle Anka:/h/a/kalle:/bin/zsh
pelle:x:102:100:Pelle Peron:/h/a/pelle:/bin/zsh
nisse:x:103:100:Nisse Nilsson:/h/b/nisse:/bin/zsh
/etc/auto.homes (or something):
a -rw host1:/userdisk/a
b -rw host2:/userdisk/b
The only drawback is that your home directories end up two levels
down, but thats not a big issue (unless your users have lots
of scripts/programs with hard coded paths).
