This is what I use for a drives with share level security.  The tree
will get root.root if not specified with the uid and gid options.

c       -fstype=smbfs,guest,uid=0,gid=35,filemod=660 ://remotepc/c

I don't know what version of samba and smbfs RH uses but you may need
the smbmount wrapper script at
http://www.wittsend.com/mhw/smbmount.html if is not samba > 2.0.5.
