That's not quite the problem - you're assuming that there are are a
preset number of known shares on known machines. We're in a college
computing environment where anyone can add, remove, or rename
computers or shares on a whim, and we'd like Linux to have the same
functionality that Windows does for browsing through the lists of such
servers and shares that SMB makes available.
