The above configuration runs on 45+ boxes since mid february and two of
them had a problem according to /var/log/messages:
Mar 24 16:25:11 oulu automount[18956]: expired /usr/src/xvw
Mar 24 16:25:11 oulu automount[540]: get_pkt: poll failed: No child processes
Mar 24 16:25:11 oulu automount[540]: shutting down, path = /usr/src
Mar 24 10:10:21 mikkel automount[19383]: expired /usr/src/linux
Mar 24 10:10:21 mikkel automount[550]: get_pkt: poll failed: No child processes
Mar 24 10:10:21 mikkel automount[550]: shutting down, path = /usr/src
In case it matters: all mounts are NFS (v3).
