Working a little bit further on the problem of 'recursive' automount
scripts:
> ##script auto.vlsi ##
> local -rw,bg,rsize=8192,wsize=16384 nets1:/iss/local1
> Linux :/vlsi/local/Linux
I have the following status quo:
the automounter does NOT allow recursive automount requests.
I can do automounts on 'automount-directories', if they 're based on
different automount processes (enforcing two different automount points and
two automount-scripts).
The disallowance of recursive automounts is a major backdraw if compared to
the 'amutils'. It is impossible to 'translate' amd maps :-(
My sysadmin will explode, when she notices that I mount the
nets1:/iss/local1' tentimes for each linux machine...
:-) Maybe this can be worked around with a patch to mount?
