There are not many people working on AutoFS right now.
It would be very wise of you to send us a patch to the list if you know how to fix it.
That's about the only chance of getting it integrated, IMO.
Also.... are you using version 3? If so, why aren't you using the rpm that came with
SuSE? Or one from the SuSE ftp server?
If you want bleeding edge autofs use the 5x tree, or at least the 4x tree.
