I could. But I'm pretty new to autofs-4, and I've seen a lot of patches (which don't apply cleanly, by the way). Most come from Debian, and some are labelled "3.1.7" or "4.0.0pre5" or something similar. A good Changelog would be helpful. Or CVS access... :-) Just now I'm reading through the patches which come with Debian, and mdk, to find out which ones are still necessary/useful and which ones are not/less. Unfortunately, with the transition from majordomo to mailman on linux.kernel.org, the old archives were apparently lost. :-( Of course I'd prefer not to split another branch. BTW, what's the state of autofs-5? Could some parts be back-ported to autofs-4?
