I think you are referring to multi-mount functionality.
I don't think that Solaris will dynamically change mount points so I assume
that you mean it will mount the entries in a round robyn order.
I though this was available in automount.
I remember seeing a patch in the autofs v4 source which related to this.

Subject: RE: [autofs] Mount of multiple FS on same mount
point
Thanks Ian!! I guess I was not very clear about my question. I
was not asking about support for overlay mount.
I wanted to know whether it supports failover (like in Solaris).
Suppose I have the same file system replicated on 2 servers. If
the server (from which the FS is mounted on the client) becomes
unavailable, will automount support mounting of the replicated
file system from the other server?
Eg.
/test -ro serv1:/test1 serv2:/test2
Thanks
Deepa

Sounds like you are asking if autofs can provide overlay mount
functionality.
The answer is no, not in autofs v3 or v4.
This is hard to do to say the least.

Subject: [autofs] Mount of multiple FS on same mount
point
Hi
I am up on Linux 7.3 and am using automount version 3.1.7.
Does this
version of automount support mount of multiple file systems from
different
hosts onto the same mount point (ie. in case of a server failure, it
can
mount a file system from a different server onto the same mount
point)?
It would really help me if you could let me know if this
feature has
been added in any of the later versions.
Thanks
Deepa
