Dear Mr. Spock,
Clearly there is something peculiar about your platform. I would like to
determine the cause and be able to adjust the code so that it can work
correctly.
So, if you would please be kind enough to re-run the failing command as
follows:
$ cd ${top_srcdir}/agen5
$ exec > agman1.out 2> agman1.err
$ ${top_srcdir}/config/config.guess
$ ${top_builddir}/agen5/autogen -L ../autoopts -Tagman1 \
--trace=everything --traceout=agman1.log -bautogen ./opts.def
$ tar cf - agman1.* ./opts.def ../autoopts/agman1.tgz \
| gzip --best > /tmp/agman1.tgz
then email me that last file. As I am writing this, I am also releasing
AutoGen 5.8.6, so I surely hope I have already addressed it somehow.
(I've not seen this symptom, so I likely have not....):
