Right now I'm using the libopts tearoff in my code. But I've found that if I upgrade Autogen on my system and forget to update the libopts tearoff code then I can compile the code, but nobody else in the world can. Hence, my goal is to always force --enable-local-libopts since that causes the code to break on my box and I can fix it.... fail early basically.
Anyways, I've dug through the libopts.m4 code, and it's not 100% clear how to accomplish this. Suggestions?
